Do you have an iPad or drawing tablet, but you don't know where to start? Or have you been drawing for some time, but does the digital world still feel a bit uncomfortable or overwhelming? Then this series is an ideal entry.
Procreate is seen by many as the drawing app for the iPad, but the possibilities can also feel a bit intimidating at first. In this course we take the first steps together, in an accessible and playful way. While drawing, we get to know the basics of the app: where can you find what tools, how do they work, and which digital brushes and effects suit your way of working?
We start from simple sketches and build them step by step into finished illustrations. Along the way we experiment with different techniques: we draw directly on the iPad, edit existing images and discover how digital and analog can reinforce each other.
The aim is not only to master the software, but above all to familiarize you with digital drawing as a creative medium. Before you know it, Procreate feels like a natural extension of your own drawing practice, and the digital drawing pleasure can really begin.
