Did you already complete one or more basic contemporary dance classes and is your inner dancer looking for new challenges? Then this course is for you. During the advanced classes, we focus even more on technical and creative stimulation!
You’ll be introduced to new movement material. This helps you explore the limits of your technical skills and push them further, and refine the quality of your movement. Your creativity will be stimulated through improvisation exercises, while your own movement vocabulary becomes broader and more defined.
In each class, we explore different performative themes and dance techniques. We start with a targeted warm-up and then dive deeper into the core of the class through improvisation exercises, “space-crossing” techniques, floorwork... All of this is approached creatively to help us connect more deeply with the space, the music, and each other. We wrap up with time for reflection and a cool-down to send your body home happily, tired and relaxed.

Cultuurhuis c o r s o is the new name of CC Berchem (at the same address). Please note that a course in this building sometimes changes classrooms. The teacher will notify you if this is the case!
Do you come by public transport?
From Antwerpen-Berchem station it is a 10 minute walk. You can also take the bus (line 21 or 32 to the stop 'De Villegastraat') or the tram (line 7 or 15 to the stop 'Berchem Driekoningenstraat' or line 9 or 11 to the stop 'Berchem Station').
Do you come by car?
Make sure to come in time, it usually takes a while to find a parking spot in this neighbourhood.
Come by foot, by bike or by public transport as much as you can!
