This workshop focuses on movement coordinations and collective improvisation. Starting from exploring different tasks and exercises to get to know our body on our own, we will then open up and explore with the other bodies around us and in the space.

Through guided improvisations we will be playing, creating, partnering, allowing our creativity to lead and build new connections through working in different formations and groups. We will activate our senses, including our touch.

We will be active in dancing as well as in watching, and try to build up a common knowledge throughout those two days by working with the body and touching upon tools of choreography.

Practical

Wear clothes and shoes in which you can move freely. Don't forget your water bottle!

Level of experience

Level 2: you've already taken at least one (but preferably more) basic contemporary dance course at WISPER or elsewhere.
