A zine is essentially a low-budget magazine that can be created by anyone, and a medium that is becoming very popular ! The emerging 'zine culture' is all about sharing insights, opinions and, of course: drawings.
By simply folding and stapling a few sheets of paper, you quickly arrive at the basis for a fun result. Whether you go for a zine with collected nature drawings, a short comic strip about your pet, a dream diary or an activist manifesto: the possibilities are endless.
During this workshop, we delve into the many possibilities of zine making. We will look at different ways of putting one together, work on different themes and give shape to our ideas with lots and lots of drawing fun.
WISPER Gent is situated at the Dok Noord site. Make sure to read the information on our Dok Noord page beforehand because this place can be a bit of a maze when you first come here.
