Welcome to our OPEN MIC, marking the end of our intense but incredibly creative summer week!

Come along with a text you've written yourself, a poem, a monologue, a word performance, a song, an act, a stand-up routine, a piece of music... Anything goes, this is your moment on stage! The audience is your safe sounding board and will support you in whatever you bring. The open mic is hosted by slam poetry teacher and word artist Bart Vereecke.

Practical

Important note: theatre and spoken word performances are limited to 3 minutes, music bands to 10 minutes and songwriters to 1 song. This allows us to give as many people as possible the opportunity to share something during this evening.

After registering and shortly before the event, you will receive a Google form from us asking you about your act and what you need from us. You will receive the specific time of your performance in the week before the event.

Level of experience

Level X: everyone is welcome, regardless of experience or prior knowledge!

Good to know if you take a full-day course here: for the lunch break, you can bring your own lunch, eat in at Café Entrepot or buy something at the Lidl supermarket around the corner.
