Bart Vereecke

Bart Vereecke (b. 1990) is a word artist and storyteller. In 2022, he made his debut as a spoken word artist and immediately crowned himself Ghent Slam Poetry Champion. Later that year, he also won the audience award at the Belgian Championships in Brussels.

Bart sees writing and performing texts primarily as a way to get a grip on his thoughts and as an opportunity to connect with others. As a teacher, he likes to inspire beginning word performers to follow their own path and offer them a guide through the many possibilities of spoken word as an art form.
