We at WISPER are big fan of words, in all shapes and sizes. Come bring yours to the stage on our monthly OPEN MIC!

You'll have five minutes, a safe and supportive audience that'll be captivated by your every word, and our unconditional respect.

It'll be cozy, it'll be fun (our bar will be open), and we'll ensure it remains a safe environment where you can experiment with slam poetry, spoken word, poetry, or short stories for a small audience.

The OPEN MIC is hosted by spoken word artist Bart Vereecke.

Even if you don't want to perform, you're very welcome to come and listen. Registration is not required.

In need of some knowhow before stepping on stage? This basic slam poetry course is the perfect place to start.

Practical

You'll receive a message about the practical arrangements the week before the event. You can submit your artist name and genre in the comments section of your registration or by email (fien@wisper.be).
