Here at WISPER, we’re all about words. Come and share yours on stage at our monthly OPEN MIC!

You’ll get five minutes, a supportive audience and our unconditional respect. It’ll be a cosy, fun evening (our bar is open), and we’ll ensure it remains a safe space where you can experiment with slam poetry, spoken word, poetry or short stories in front of a small audience. The OPEN MIC is hosted by spoken word artist Bart Vereecke (a.k.a. NOKABE)

Even if you don’t want to perform, you’re very welcome to come and listen. In that case, you don’t need to register.

Would you like to pick up some know-how before you take to the stage? Then the basic slam poetry course might be just the thing for you.

Practical

In the week leading up to the event, you will be notified of the final arrangements. You can provide your stage name and genre in the comments box when you register or by email (fien@wisper.be).
