The iconic ink and colour spots of the Rorschach test are meant to evoke spontaneous associations and interpretations. To kick our brains into high gear. But as creators, what do we take away from these associations? And can we use and explore them in other ways? During this one-day course, we test all possible boundaries of a visual creation process!

We use the accessible printing technique monoprint to shape our ideas and experiments. From there, we continue the exploration process by drawing, painting and printing, but we also add wire, textile and even spatial research. What shapes push themselves forward? In what direction does the material push you?

Expect a whirlwind workshop full of colour research, material-technical discoveries, spontaneous narrative expressions!

Practical

Bring a work shirt or apron to protect your clothes. All materials are available.

Do you have old sheets lying around that you no longer need? Bring them along to make rags, those always come in handy!

Level of experience

Level X: you level of experience is not important in this workshop, but being eager to try out new stuff is!
