Zoë Demoustier is a Brussels-based choreographer and performer with a background in Dutch Mime, contemporary dance and cultural studies. The body serves as her starting point for visual representations, linking movement to current and engaged issues to create choreographic work. Since graduating in 2017, she has built a wide network in Flanders, Brussels and the Netherlands, and has worked internationally in cities such as Vienna, Montreal and Milan. Zoë is known for her choreographic work that focuses on social themes. She has collaborated with a range of companies, including Kabinet K, Michiel Vandevelde, Alma Söderberg/Manyone, Iris Bouche/Opera Ballet Flanders, David Weber Krebs and Marcelo Evelin.
In 2021, she was an ambassador for the Day of Dance, where she collaborated with De Zendelingen to create the dance makers of tomorrow. In 2022, she began a new collaboration as choreographer with Ultima Vez, continuing her commitment to combining movement, image and sound across generations and artistic styles.
