Nathalie El Ghoul is an Ecuadorian-Lebanese choreographer, dancer, researcher, and educator currently based in Belgium. Her artistic practice moves between contemporary dance, Oriental dance, and somatic methodologies, exploring the body as a territory of memory, identity, and transformation.
After developing creative, research, and educational projects in Ecuador for more than fifteen years, following an earlier career in Europe, her return to Belgium has opened a new stage of reflection on how displacement, migration, and changes in geography transform bodily experience and ways of creating collectively. Her work seeks to build bridges between collective creation practices rooted in Latin American theatre and European artistic and educational contexts, understanding creation as a process of listening, dialogue, and shared construction.
She currently works as a dance educator in Flanders and continues to develop artistic research projects in which the body becomes a space of encounter between cultures, territories, and communities.
