Ming Yue is a Chinese cartoonist/illustrator, born in Beijing, also studied, lived and worked in Japan for several years. She eventually moved to Belgium due to her love of European comics. She graduated from the Luca School of Art with a Masters in Visual Arts & Graphic Storytelling.
Her artistic achievements have been recognized through exhibitions in China and Japan, and her comics and illustrations can be found in many publications. By combining hand-drawing and digital painting, she creates layered characters.
Having lived in various countries, her work focuses on capturing the essence of cultural diversity, culinary traditions, personal history and family memories. Through the medium of image storytelling, graphic novels, and multi-materials, she aspires to tap into shared emotions across cultural backgrounds and generations.
