In the music and dance world, jams are a familiar concept: people coming together to make music or dance according to what they let emerge together in the moment. No scores, no set choreographies or steps, no plan. But you can also jam and improvise as a theatre performer, writer, visual artist ... During this evening, participants from all artistic disciplines are welcome!
We start with step-by-step explorations of our voice and body. We build up to listening and feeling what is happening inside and around us. Starting from those impressions, we fill the space with ourselves and others around us.
We end with one big playground for everyone who moves, everything that makes sound, everything that is imagined or put into words. In short: every creator and art form. Together, we become part of a fluid space full of unique creations of the moment.
The evening will be guided by multimedia artist and composer Ewoud Van Eetvelde. The main elements are connection, transformation, feeling the space and exploration.
No crossover experience yet but curious? Come on down! Ewoud will get everyone started. Before you know it, you and the others will be immersed in the whole and together you will create all kinds of beautiful and surprising things!

Good to know if you take a full-day course here: for the lunch break, you can bring your own lunch, eat in at Café Entrepot or buy something at the Lidl supermarket around the corner.
