You followed one or more basic series and the dancer in you is yearning for new challenges and depth? This intermediate series focuses on that extra dance technique and creative stimulus!
We provide you with new movement material; to push the boundaries of your technical ability and to refine your quality of movement. Your creativity is stimulated through improvisation assignments as your own movement vocabulary becomes wider and more defined.
Each lesson explores different performative themes and dance techniques. We begin with a focused warm up, then delve into the core of the class through improvisation, space-crossing techniques, floowork, release and modern dance-influenced material and creative tasks to connect with the space, the music and the group. Then we conclude with room for reflections and a cool down to send the body home happily tired and relaxed.

Cultuurhuis c o r s o is the new name of CC Berchem (at the same address). Please note that a course in this building sometimes changes classrooms. The teacher will notify you if this is the case!
Do you come by public transport?
From Antwerpen-Berchem station it is a 10 minute walk. You can also take the bus (line 21 or 32 to the stop 'De Villegastraat') or the tram (line 7 or 15 to the stop 'Berchem Driekoningenstraat' or line 9 or 11 to the stop 'Berchem Station').
Do you come by car?
Make sure to come in time, it usually takes a while to find a parking spot in this neighbourhood.
Come by foot, by bike or by public transport as much as you can!
