Conne-x-ions is about connecting on different levels, in the broadest sense of the word. We explore connections within our bodies: how can we use our entire body when we move? How can we smoothly shift our balance? How can we connect movement and breathing? We also look for connections that transcend the purely anatomical: connections between body & mind, body & imagination, and body & music. Last but not least, we seek connection with each other.
During these Sunday afternoons, we will focus on bodywork and explore concepts such as grounding, expansion, and flow. From an anatomical perspective, we will look for ways to ground ourselves while moving and, from that grounding, seek expansion. We will then connect this grounding and expansion with flow to discover the richness and surprises that lie hidden within. Our dance potential deepens and expands. Will you join us in this physical, exploratory game?
About bodywork at WISPER
Our bodywork courses focus on taking time for recovery, renewal, and gaining more insight into our body structure. This supports us in dancing and moving in a healthy way and, more generally, in integrating healthy movement patterns into our daily lives. Highly recommended for every dancer and, in general, everyone!
