Sebastiaan Wets

Sebastiaan Wets is a guitarist who focuses on two extremes: velvety strumming with dreamy sounds on one hand and instrumentally heavier work on the other. In Aufhebung, one of his bands, both tendencies come together most clearly. There, he creates a mix of cinematic compositions where thoughtful soundscapes alternate with fierce pieces of brutal violence. Sebastian attaches great importance to the right sound textures to carry his music and drag the listener along.
