Riske Lemmens

Since 1995, Riske Lemmens has worked as a free-lance illustrator for several Belgian and Dutch publishers. She also teaches in the Part-time Art Education Programme. As an illustrator of picture and reading books, Riske likes to work with different techniques and modes of execution in order to strike the right tone for each story. Depicting emotions and fantasy are recognisable and recurring elements of her work. The expressions of her characters are often extreme and humorous yet recognisable as real people.
