Making music means being stubborn. It's about flirting with what already exists to let your authenticity shine through. For Marte Truyers, a singersongwriter from Ghent, finding a balance between melody and words is crucial to telling a story. She wants to set something in motion, in any way she can. She currently writes mainly for her solo project Marcelle, where she intimately and organically strums her way to everyone's centre and builds a home for all fellow doubters.
