Marie Bogaert

Marie Bogaert is self-taught and has been active for a long time as an artist, vocal coach and singing teacher. She relates to different genres like soul, pop, jazz, reggae & world music and loves to explore different styles and techniques. She has been active for years as a backing vocalist with the Ghent-based afro reggae band 'Seekaman', but also built her own repertoire as front woman in former project 'O bain Marie'. Currently, she is mainly working on her solo project 'MariJah' and has already released several records in collaboration with various reggae and dub producers.
