Lotte Vansantvoet

Lotte Vansantvoet (b. 1996) lives and works in Brussels. In her work, she combines etching, drawing and paper cut-outs. Tiny creatures inhabit flat landscapes, composed of ornamentation and imaginary flowers. Each work unfolds like a story with no fixed beginning or end; one element leads to the next and gradually develops into an image, inspired by folklore, fantasy and her immediate surroundings.
