Lotte Dodion

Lotte Dodion (1987) is a poet, performer and poetry missionary. Even when she is not writing or performing, she slings poetry and wonder into everyday life: she sets up poetry projects in which she experiments with social design and gets people to write. For instance, she used poetry to bring victims and perpetrators of crime together and supervised a theatre project in which chronically ill patients share their experiences. In the run-up to the Tokyo Olympics, Lotte founded STUDIO HAIKU, a mobile writing studio that travels to places where poetry is often far away. In 2023-2024, she was city poet of Antwerp.
