Litte Van Horebeek (born 1999, Belgium) is replacing Francesca, who is on maternity leave from mid-March until the end of July. She will therefore be temporarily programming our dance courses in Leuven and Antwerp and also teaching a few courses.
Litte dances, creates and works in the performing arts. In addition to production work for dance and circus organisations, she creates her own work and shares her experiences in workshops and research projects.
She first studied dance and creation at La Faktoria Choreographic Centre (Spain) and the Kunst Humaniora in Brussels. She then obtained her bachelor's degree in Communication and Culture Management with various internships as a production and communication assistant at fABULEUS and P.A.R.T.S. Thanks to all these experiences both in front of and behind the scenes, Litte discovered that it is precisely this combination of creative freedom and hands-on production and communication work in the cultural sector that suits her perfectly.
Her artistic career as a dancer and choreographer brought her into contact with Marta Coronado, David Hernandez, Zoë Demoustier, Talking Bodies, CircusID, Danscompagnie Lune (Jennifer Regidor) and many other individuals and organisations. In her own choreographic and educational practice, she likes to delve into compositional structures, improvisation, release technique and the individuality of each dancer. Since 2021, she has been exploring how principles from contemporary dance can be translated to other disciplines, such as circus and theatre, and how other disciplines can inspire contemporary dance.
