Lisa Ottenburgh

Lisa Ottenburgh lives and works in Ghent, where she obtained her master's degree in visual arts from LUCA School of Arts, with a specialisation in illustration. Although she mainly works with drawings, her practice also consists of paintings, graphic work, illustrations and paper cuts.

In her sketchbooks, she collects all kinds of stories that always serve as a starting point for new work. From this, her often chaotic images with whimsical objects and 'clumsy' characters emerge.
