Lies Lambrecht

Lies Lambrecht is a professional dancer, choreographer, dance teacher and yoga instructor. At the age of seventeen, she started as one of the youngest at SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance) where she collaborated with renowned dancers and creators, and she presented her first solo choreography. Her career began with Marcel Leemann Physical Dance Theater Company (CH). In 2023, she danced as a member of Needcompany in Le Grand Macabre at the Wiener Staatsoper (AU), in 2024 in the Salzburg Festival, and also in Spiegelneuronen.

Negabsence is the current production she created in collaboration with her collective and with musician Arnaud Soetens, performing in Belgium, Austria and Italy. With her latest solo work “Oh Bella!” she performed at festivals such as Dansen In't Park. She shares her passion for dance as a guest teacher and guest choreographer at institutions such as MUDA Kunstsecundair, Kunsthumaniora Brugge, Platform K, Broei and DEVLOER. In 2023, she was awarded the Cultural Laureate Prize for young talent in Lochristi.
