Kurt Van Houtte

Kurt Van Houtte is a creator, freelance interaction builder and manipulator of new media. He is - as a purebred robot geek - founder of Timelab, Ugent Fablab and co-founder of Dorkbot-Gent, part of the worldwide network of “people doing strange things with electricity.” Kurt organizes the ArtBots-Gent exhibitions and designs various electromechanical and interactive installations. He is currently researching DIY rapid prototyping, DIY fabricating and physical computing. Recently he has also been experimenting with all kinds of guitar FX and synth/noise modules.
