Kelly Van Loon

Kelly studied illustration and open studio and describes herself as an playful artist who mainly experiments with inks, text and inventing characters. She nurtures a passion for old (printing) crafts and often seeks out the boundary of the absurd. In her own words, most of her ink drawings arise from a sneaky observation of the world. Both in her own work and in her lessons, she attaches great importance to experimentation, technique and the rendering of atmosphere.
