Jeroen Brejou

Jeroen is our photography educator, and thus programmes our entire photography offering. In his personal documentary work, people are always the main subject. Jeroen likes to highlight what could be called 'the back' of the story or the 'dirty corner'. Notable examples of his work include 'Ensemble' on the fringes of Aalst Carnival and 'de Achterhoede' where he focused his lens on riders dangling from the back of a peloton. He also harbours a profound fascination with the passage of time and the photographic capacity to capture it, and likes to tell a story through multiple narratives.
