Jelle De Wit studied Social and Cultural Work and then moved to the Netherlands where he studied directing and theatre pedagogy. There he obtained a bachelor's degree in theatre at Fontys Hogeschool and then travelled on to London for a master's degree in 'Devised Theatre and Performance' at Rose-Bruford College.
Jelle is a lecturer at the 'International Training and Research Centre for Theatre and Performance' in Berlin. In recent years, he has taught acting, expression, public speaking, pitching, voice training and movement analysis.
In his own creations and performances, he explores the authenticity of his environment and natural human behaviour, poetically confronting our society with itself. He is currently performing with CO-LAB, a collective of Latin American and European artists.
