Ilke Teerlinck

Ilke received her Bachelor's degree in Fine and Performing Arts in 2015 as a performing dancer in dance theater and modern dance at the Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg (NL). Currently she works freelance as a dancer and performing artist, specializing in contemporary dance and dance theater for young audiences. For the past years she has danced in performances of various companies in the Netherlands and abroad.

Working primarily as a performing and creating dancer for dance company tout petit, Tanzcompagnie Irene K, Kopland and others, she debuted her first own performance 'Shall we together...' under the wings of dance company tout petit in September 2022. Ilke is known for her very physical contemporary dance lessons, with attention for everyone's individual process and pace. The desire and pleasure to move have a central position, along with a healthy dose of challenge and empathy.
