Evelyn Vanoverbeke

Evelyn is an artist who lives and works in Brussels. She uses her background in painting to re-think space and objects. By looking for a collaboration between art and design her work reduces the distance between the art piece and the spectator. Using materials from her surroundings, she recombines them to produce different compositions and sculptures. With these sculptures she explores the boundary between art and daily use of objects, giving a playful note to her work.
