Eslam Elnebishy

Eslam Elnebishy is a choreographer, dancer and teacher, born and raised in Cairo and currently based in Frankfurt.

Through his practice, he questions dominant norms and knowledge about the body and offers a space to search for something else, aiming for exploration, reflection and joy. Improvisation plays a central role in his works, with a focus always on how to expand the forms it offers and how to discover its different potentials.

He is a graduate of Choreography and performance master’s program(CUP) Gießen, Germany, and of Maat|CCDC contemporary dance school in Cairo, Egypt.
