Elena Werner

Elena Werner is a costume designer who's especially fascinated by historical and contemporary costumes. She has worked at Kunsthuis Opera Vlaanderen, De Munt and The International Opera Academy, among others.

Since 2010, she has been working with a focus on opera, dance and film and Elena has been diligently building an international career. For instance, she was able to design costumes for the Loch Shiel Spring Festival in Scotland, the Nederlandse Reisopera, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, Teatro Municipal 1° de Mayo, Santa Fe Lírica Argentina and PERAWERF113, the Royal Museum for Central Africa and Gaasbeek Castle.

You can also come across her work digitally, as she created the historical costumes for the BBC drama series "The White Queen" and the film "Emperor".
