David Poltrock

David Poltrock is an artist, producer, engineer, composer, arranger, musician and teacher at PXL Music. His own music is described as ambient, neo-classical and cinematic and is held in high regard alongside modern greats such as Nils Frahm and Ólafur Arnalds. He is also known as a member of the Dutch-language rock band De Mens.

As a live and session musician, he works or has worked for artists such as Hooverphonic, Monza, Triggerfinger, Adamo, Douglas Firs, Bart Peeters and The Blackbox Revelation. As an arranger he has worked for Tom Helsen, Arid, Lois Lane, K's Choice and many others.

Poltrock also has his own recording studio in Brussels, characterized by a large collection of mechanical, electromechanical and electronic keyboard instruments from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.
