You probably already know that singing polyphonically together is incredibly fun and regularly produces goose-bump moments. In this series, we go for the pure magic of polyphonic singing. From subdued folk, cheerful African, rousing gospel to shimmering polyphony from the East and the South. In the words of teacher Patricia: 'Mighty polyphonic is about building up, expanding and deepening our sound together. We experiment with our voices, the intention of the songs, dare to let ourselves sound and go for the ultimate blend together.' A singing gift to yourself!
At the end of this course, you can choose to join the show piece at the WISPER presentation day on 8 June, more info will be shared at the beginning of the course.
Cultuurhuis c o r s o is the new name of CC Berchem (at the same address). Please note that a course in this building sometimes changes classrooms. The teacher will notify you if this is the case!
Do you come by public transport?
From Antwerpen-Berchem station it is a 10 minute walk. You can also take the bus (line 21 or 32 to the stop 'De Villegastraat') or the tram (line 7 or 15 to the stop 'Berchem Driekoningenstraat' or line 9 or 11 to the stop 'Berchem Station').
Do you come by car?
Make sure to come in time, it usually takes a while to find a parking spot in this neighbourhood.
Come by foot, by bike or by public transport as much as you can!
