Mindfulness as a silent and static affair? Not in this course. We turn our attention inwards, focus on breathing as well as letting our body move.
We start by grounding and focusing on our body awareness. Once our mind and breath have calmed down, a series of guided improvisations bring us to a deeper level of awareness and freedom of movement.
For this workshop, Francesca draws on her background as a yoga and dance teacher. She draws inspiration from various dance improvisation techniques, Hatha yoga, mindfulness techniques and somatic practices.
