In our free jams, all musicians, musical styles, instruments and voices are welcome! Together, we crawl into the magic of the moment and let ourselves be carried away by the music and structure that emerges. No existing songs or standards are requested here, but we get to work with the spontaneous inspiration of all jammers. Our jams are primarily intended as a sanctuary for singers and musicians who feel like playing and creating together. Little or no experience? Doesn't matter! The jams are accompanied by our regular music staff member Reindert and his trusty saxophone. Those who need it will get a little push from him. And before you know it, you will be part of the jamming whole!
Check www.opek.be for more information about how to get here. At the first session, you will be welcomed by someone from WISPER who will tell you exactly where in/around the building your course takes place.
Good to know if you take a full-day course here: for the lunch break, you can bring your own lunch, eat in at Café Entrepot or buy something at the Lidl supermarket around the corner.
Please note: the only entrance to STELPLAATS is next to Novotel at the Vuurkruisenlaan. It is forbidden to access this site in any other way.
Come by bike, by foot or by public transport as much as you can!
