All musicians, music styles, instruments and voices are welcome at our open jams! Together, we immerse ourselves in the magic of the moment and let ourselves be carried away by the music and the structure that emerges.
Usually, we don't ask for existing songs or standards, but instead we work with the spontaneous inspiration of all the jammers.
Our jams are primarily intended as a free space for singers and musicians who feel like playing and creating together.
Little or no experience? It doesn't matter. The jams are accompanied by our regular music collaborator Reindert and his trusty saxophone. Anyone who needs it will get a helping hand from him. Before you know it, you'll be part of the group
Check www.opek.be for more information about how to get here. At the first session, you will be welcomed by someone from WISPER who will tell you exactly where in/around the building your course takes place.
Good to know if you take a full-day course here: for the lunch break, you can bring your own lunch, eat in at Café Entrepot or buy something at the Lidl supermarket around the corner.
