In this workshop, you will be introduced to the basic principles of classical dance and learn how you can use them in your own dances. Layer by layer, we peel this dance style down to its essence of bending, stretching, rising, launching, gliding, jumping and turning.
We embody the content and let the form emerge from there. Through a fresh, joyful approach, you will be introduced to these essential principles: we zoom in with short exercises but also zoom out to get into the 'groove' of this technique through improvisation. The interaction between the classical dance technique and your own dancing is central.
Expect a laboratory where you can explore and experiment to your heart's content!

Good to know if you take a full-day course here: for the lunch break, you can bring your own lunch, eat in at Café Entrepot or buy something at the Lidl supermarket around the corner.
