A brief but intimate exploration into the timeless genre of the blues, where emotion and experience come together in every note and word.
Together with Susan and the other singers, immerse yourself in the rich story of the blues, with roots in the deep south of the United States and spread around the world as the voice of sorrow, hope and resilience. Learn the simple yet powerful chords that form the basis of blues music and discover the art of improvisation that makes each performance unique.
In this course we will explore the technique of singing together as well as get closer to the spiritual core of the blues. Susan will take you on a journey into the essence of human emotion, allowing you to express and connect your own story to an ancient tradition. Let the lament of the blues touch your soul!
