Language & teacher(s) Dutch/English

This weekend focuses on the cross-pollination between the Feldenkrais Method® and contact improvisation. We discover how they influence each other and elevate each other to a higher level.

Expect a combination of subtle movement explorations (Feldenkrais Method®) and playful, more expansive approaches to contact improvisation. This mix promises new perspectives and insights into how you experience your weight in movement and displacement, and in the play wiith gravity — how you can allow and trust the ground, in order to move more lightly and find your way upwards.

Sabrina and Hélène are joining forces to make it an inspiring weekend, each with their own expertise and dance qualities.

Practical

This course is mainly taught in English. Wear clothing that allows you to move easily and in layers (extra jumper, socks, long trousers). Bring a bottle of water for breaks, a pair of soft knee pads, a yoga mat and a blanket.

Level of experience

Level 2: you have already taken one or more courses in contact improvisation and want to deepen your skills.
