3-day CI Immersion
This activity/workshop is part of a 3-day immersion in contact improvisation in Ghent from May 29 to 31.
This is a three-day program with several workshops. You can register for the whole CI-immersion or for separate activities.
In the mornings we focus on movement research from different perspectives.
In the afternoons, two teachers always teach together. They exchange their movement language and approaches with each other and the group.
After the afternoon session, there is room for integration and experimentation in the form of:
Poetic Anatomy
This session with Siri is both poetic and physically technical. Fuelled by Siri's visual, metaphorical language, during this workshop we activate a special sense, our inner vision. Starting from what is simple and seemingly known, and through the investigative experience of our anatomy, we enter the layers and universes of our moving body. Our eyes, hands, vertebrae take on a language of their own. A language that subtly makes us find our own dance and guides us straight to the core of a solidly grounded technique. Immerse your analytical mind in a warm bath and let your creative spirit crackle in abundance.
