This short series is all about one thing: making music together.
You will meet new people who share your love of music with whom you will create songs or new arrangements of existing songs, drawing on your own creativity. In the process, you get a taste of different musical styles with elements and influences from different musical traditions.
Apart from classical music and pop music, teacher Sarah also studied classical Indian music, Jamaican music and traditional Greek music. She herself plays piano, double bass, bass, handpan and qanun.
This course promises you a wildly interesting and ecclectic sound with a personal twist.
Check www.opek.be for more information about how to get here. At the first session, you will be welcomed by someone from WISPER who will tell you exactly where in/around the building your course takes place.
Good to know if you take a full-day course here: for the lunch break, you can bring your own lunch, eat in at Café Entrepot or buy something at the Lidl supermarket around the corner.
