Bénédicte Mottart

Bénédicte is an instinctive professional contemporary dancer and choreographer. She studied at The Place in London and started her dance career among Ultima Vez/Wim Vandekeybus. She then mainly created among the young audience Compagnie 3637 until 2023. She’s currently following a Feldenkrais Education, stretching the connection between somatics and movement. She has a very wide teaching experience and is passionate about sharing the freeing, grounding and healing abilities of the body. Her choreographic work is mainly influenced by the themes of intimacy, authenticity, animality and freedom. Her favorite fields of exploration are Contact Improvisation, somatics and floor work.
