Ben Verhoeven is a passionate improviser and drama teacher from Antwerp. He is known for his unique blend of science and theatre: for instance, he helps scientists communicate better through improvisation techniques and makes theatre about science with ERLNMYR.
Ben has already performed over 250 improvisation shows in 10 countries, in 4 different languages. With his musical improvisation group Commotie and the trio Prism, he won the Flemish improv competition Kemphanen three times, and in 2024 he even made it to the podium at the European Championships Improvisational Theatre.
He has already taught at the Mechelen Conservatory, the Swaajp Improschool and also separate workshops at home and abroad. His style? A calm presence, attention for the group, and always looking for both fun and meaning.
Oh, and if you can sing on stage, he certainly doesn't say no.
