Augusto Pedraza

Augusto is a Mexican theater maker, actor, physical performer and historian based in Mechelen, who graduated from RITCS as a director in 2020. His first short film 'Violence' premiered in 2021, with which he was selected at several festivals. He directed in Mexico, the Netherlands, Belgium and Latvia and participated in an international project with the Grotowski Institute and the PLETA platform (Platform European Theatre Academies).

His artistic vision deals with subjects such as origin, identity, love, pessimism, violence and hope. He works with dance, theater, film, visual arts and music.
