Ann Claes is an (improvisation) actress, theatre maker, freelance coach, director and drama (improv) teacher. After playing in multiple theatre shows and improvisation performances for several years, she graduated in 2012 from the Theatre Academy Maastricht as a theatre teacher and director. As a theatre actress, she played at Compagnie Gorilla (directed by Hans van den Boom), project Good Times (Fringe Festival Amsterdam, Het Paleis), School Play Toile Ciree and monologue Kinderen Van de Craen. She played many guest performances and supporting roles in Belgian television shows such as Professor T, Gent-West, Vermist, Wat als?, Safety First, Safety First the Movie, Advocaat van de Duivel, Magazinski , Familie, Fans … She’s a regular improvisation actress at Inspinazie, the Belgian Improvisation Liga and she has her own company De Boterbrigade with Bill Barberis and Filip Leonard.
