Anisa El Margai

Anisa El Margai travels through a world of thick stitches, swift embroidery and flowing lines. She combines various textile techniques — from knitting to embroidery and from crochet to patchwork — thereby defining her own boundaries and limits, whilst keeping in mind the freedom that anything is possible.

She also makes music, draws comic strips and paints. When Anisa creates and tells stories, she seeks to discover what lies within people: their feelings, their secrets and their passions.
