Nelle Hens

Nelle Hens is an artist fascinated by movement and rest. The basis of her work lies in the facilitation of dynamic stability. She does this in the role of dancer, choreographer, yoga teacher, confidant and process facilitator. Regardless of the form of her practices, they always rest on the same basis of 'ont-moeten' and grow in continuity from an inner listening.

Nelle studied dance at the Conservatory in Antwerp (Artesis, 2003- 2006), SEAD, Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (2009- 2011) and yoga at the International Vijñāna Yoga Teacher Training (2017-2019). She danced in performances by Trisha Brown, Jan Fabre and Jan Martens, among others. She also worked as a choreographer and dancer with theater maker Tom Struyf and composer Joris Blanckaert.
