Do you have a few self-written spoken word texts lying around somewhere. Maybe even performed them in front of a crowd at an open mic event. Or do you think it's about time to share your words with the world in a different way?
Well, here's your chance! For the next episode of the WISPER podcast, we are looking for spoken word artists who would like to perform their self-written piece in our podcast studio.
Who can apply?
Anyone - your experience level doesn't matter. As long as you have a self-written text that you would like to share. We welcome all submissions, but we do give priority to WISPER students and teachers in making the final selection if there is a lot of response.
What do you get if you are selected?
The chance to speak your mind and introduce yourself as a spoken word artist in our podcast. With the various recordings, we will make and launch brand new episode.
You can apply until June 1st, 2025 by sending an email to annelies@wisper.be Attach a piece of your own work (as audio or text). This does not have to be the text you want to record. At the latest on Wednesday, June 4th , you will hear whether you were selected to record your piece in our podcast studio.
WISPER Gent is situated at the Dok Noord site. Make sure to read the information on our Dok Noord page beforehand because this place can be a bit of a maze when you first come here.
