A nice mix of improvisation and composition! We start by investigating how our body can move via various task-based exercises. We’ll work on diverse qualities, isolations and definition of the body. Next, we bring our movement into composition with each other, the space and time. We work from improvisation-based compositions.

Practical

Wear clothes in which you can move easily and that can get dirty. We dance barefoot. Bring a bottle of water and a light lunch.

Level of experience

Level X: open to dancers and movers of all levels, who feel comfortable with improvisation and short choreographed phrases, regardless of your prior knowledge or dance experience!
