Many stories are unfolding in the café. They can be based on conversations between people, on food, on memories or books, on the music you hear, on objects in the space, or just on the experience of the moment. This workshop introduces you to experimental drawing methodes and invites you to express your creativity and the stories you see around you.
Together with Ming and the other participants, you visit another café in Leuven each Sunday afternoon. In this inspiring and cosy atmosphere, playful exercises help you explore different topics and discover the many possibilities of visual storytelling. We also experiment with the relationship between images and text through various experimental and interactive methods. All this mixed with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, of course ...
Join us for this perfect once-a-month Sunday afternoon activity with other like-minded people!
More information about the different addresses we visit will be further communicated directly to the registered participants.
Check www.opek.be for more information about how to get here. At the first session, you will be welcomed by someone from WISPER who will tell you exactly where in/around the building your course takes place.
Good to know if you take a full-day course here: for the lunch break, you can bring your own lunch, eat in at Café Entrepot or buy something at the Lidl supermarket around the corner.
Come a few minutes early for the first session of your course and stop by at the reception desk at STUK (downstairs at the entrance). The next sessions, you can go directly to the course room.
Come by bike, by foot or by public transport as much as you can!
